Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are additional terms for this PDF converter application for iPhone, iPad and Mac ("the App"), published by Md Khaled Hasan ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to the Standard EULA and to these Terms.

1. License

Your license to use the App is granted under the Standard EULA and is subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. In summary, it is a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control. We grant no separate license in these Terms, and nothing here limits or expands the rights the Standard EULA gives you.

2. What the App does

The App lets you scan, import, convert, edit, organize, compress, merge, OCR, watermark, number, password-protect and share PDF documents. All processing happens on your device. Scanning documents with the camera is available on iPhone and iPad; on Mac, documents are imported from files or photos.

3. Free tier and Premium subscriptions

The App's core features — scanning, importing, editing and sharing documents — are free. Advanced features ("Premium"), such as format conversion, OCR, watermarks, password protection and compression, are available through auto-renewable subscriptions purchased via your Apple ID:

• Pro Weekly — billed every week
• Pro Yearly — billed every year

Current prices are always displayed in the App before purchase and are set in your local currency by the App Store. Subscription terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal charge is applied within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time — on iPhone or iPad in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, and on Mac in the App Store app → your account → Account Settings → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Purchases can be restored on another iPhone, iPad or Mac signed in with the same Apple ID using Restore in the App's paywall.
• All billing, refunds and payment disputes are handled by Apple under App Store policies; refunds can be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.

On iPhone and iPad, the free version is supported by advertising. Where offered, you may watch a rewarded advertisement to use a Premium feature once, free of charge; rewarded unlocks may be limited per day. Premium removes all ads. The Mac version shows no ads; there, Premium features are available only with a subscription.

We may change which features are free or Premium, and prices (for future billing periods), at any time.

4. Your content

Documents and content you scan, import, or create remain yours. They are stored on your device and are not uploaded to us. You are responsible for the content you process with the App and must hold the necessary rights to use it. You agree not to use the App to infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

In addition to the restrictions in the Standard EULA, you agree not to circumvent the App's purchase mechanisms, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of the App Store Terms of Service.

6. Accuracy of results

Conversion, compression and OCR results depend on the quality and layout of the source document. We do not warrant that conversions or recognized text will be perfectly accurate or that every file format or document will be supported. Always keep backups of important documents.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property beyond the license granted under the Standard EULA. Apple and the App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.; the App is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every file, document, or operating-system version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or documents, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Apple's role

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not a party to them. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App, its content, and any maintenance or support for it. Apple's own obligations, including warranty and refund handling, are set out in the Standard EULA and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which apply in addition to these Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Changes and termination

We may update the App, its features, its prices (for future billing periods), and these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Termination of the license itself is governed by the Standard EULA; we may withdraw access to Premium features if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it; active subscriptions must be cancelled separately as described in Section 3.

12. Governing law

The license itself is governed by the law stated in the Standard EULA. These additional Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by local consumer law, and otherwise by the laws applicable to the developer's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where applicable, your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
