Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED · JULY 29, 2026
The short version: No accounts, and we never sell your data. Your documents — scans, PDFs, photos and everything you create — stay on your device. The free version shows ads (which never see your documents); Premium removes them. Beyond that, the App collects only anonymous usage statistics to help us improve it.
Who we are
This PDF converter application ("the App") is an iOS application developed and published by Md Khaled Hasan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App does — and does not — handle when you use it.
Your documents stay on your device
Everything you scan, import, convert, edit, or create with the App (PDFs, scanned pages, photos, OCR text, watermarks, signatures and other edits) is stored only on your device, inside the App's private storage. We have no access to it and it is never uploaded to us or to any third party. Scanning, conversion, compression, OCR and editing are all performed on your device using the operating system's built-in capabilities.
Your files may also be included in your device or iCloud backups if you have those enabled through Apple; that backup relationship is between you and Apple. Deleting the App removes its data from your device.
Data we collect
The App collects anonymous usage statistics through Google Firebase Analytics so we can understand which features are used and improve the App. This includes:
- Usage events — for example which screens are opened and which tools are used
- General device information — device model, iOS version, language and approximate location derived from your IP address (country or city level; the App never uses GPS)
- A randomly generated app-instance identifier used to count sessions (not your name, email, phone number, or advertising ID)
This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. It never includes the contents, names, or text of your documents. Google processes it on our behalf as described in the Firebase privacy documentation.
The App does not have:
- User accounts or sign-in of any kind
- Access to your contacts, precise (GPS) location, or microphone
- Any collection of your documents or their contents — files never leave your device
Advertising (free version)
The free version of the App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Upgrading to Premium removes all ads.
- To select and deliver ads, Google may process device information such as your device model, IP address (and the approximate location derived from it), and ad-performance data (which ads were shown or tapped). This processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices.
- Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the App shows a consent form before any ads are requested, and your choice controls whether ads may be personalized.
- On iOS, the App asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you allow it, Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads; if you decline, you still get ads, just not personalized ones. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Ads never see, scan, or receive your documents. Advertising data is processed by Google, not stored by us.
- You can reset your device's advertising identifier or limit ad tracking at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
Device permissions
The App may ask for the following permissions. Anything accessed through them is processed on your device and never uploaded:
- Camera — used only to scan physical documents and turn them into PDFs
- Photo library — used only to import images you select and convert them into PDFs
- Save to Photos — used only when you choose to save an exported image to your photo library
You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings; denying a permission only disables the related feature.
Sharing your files
When you use the system Share feature to send a document, that action and its destination are controlled entirely by you and by iOS. We do not see, log, or receive anything you share.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's StoreKit system. We never see or store your name, payment details, or billing information. Apple provides the App only with an anonymous confirmation that a subscription is active. Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
This website
This website is a set of static pages hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. It uses no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. As with virtually all web hosting, Google's infrastructure may temporarily log standard technical data (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes, as described in Google's Firebase privacy documentation. We do not access or use such logs to identify anyone.
Children's privacy
The App is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The anonymous usage statistics described above are not linked to any individual and contain no personal data.
Your rights
We hold no personal data that identifies you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, export, correct, or delete on your behalf — rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA are satisfied by design. Your documents live on your device; deleting the App removes them and resets the anonymous analytics identifier. For purchase records, contact Apple through your App Store account. If you have any privacy question or request, email us and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If the App's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds an online feature — this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the "last updated" date revised above. Material changes will also be noted in the App's update notes.
